Forward collision warning with collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control that works even in low-speed traffic, lane-keeping steering assist and road departure mitigation are all standard across the board. Like its MDX counterpart, the RDX is available with the A-Spec styling package. The RDX sports a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine. Output is stated at 273 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, and it’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The new RDX is built in East Liberty, Ohio. Honda PilotDropping down to seventh place for 2019 is the Honda Pilot. Like its two-row Passport sibling, the three-row Pilot offers parent-focused technology like Cabin Talk as well as myriad standard driver-assistance features through the Honda Sensing tech suite. Honda’s largest crossover offers up nearly 84 cubic feet of cargo space. Honda’s 3.5-liter V6 engine shows up again, making a serviceable 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Touring and Elite trims get a nine-speed automatic transmission while lower trims have to make do with a six-speed auto. Antuan Goodwin/Roadshow The Chevrolet Blazer is adding a third engine option to its roster for the 2020 model year. According to Car and Driver, a 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine will join the 2020 Blazer lineup, producing 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.”We added the [2.0-liter engine] to the Blazer to offer customers more choice,” a Chevrolet spokesperson confirmed to Roadshow via email on Friday. This new powertrain looks to fit in nicely between the Blazer’s existing engines. The 2020 Blazer will still be available with a 193-horsepower, naturally aspirated, 2.5-liter I4 on base trims, and the upper-crust RS and Premier models will continue to use Chevy’s 308-horsepower, 3.6-liter V6. The 2.0T engine will be offered on the Blazer’s midtier 2LT and 3LT models, where it’ll be paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Unlike the base 2.5-liter engine, which is offered exclusively with front-wheel drive, the 2.0-liter turbo-four will be available with a choice of front- or all-wheel drive.Another advantage of the 2.0T engine will likely be fuel economy, though official 2020 Blazer EPA numbers are not available just yet. For reference, the 2019 Blazer is rated at 24 miles per gallon combined with its 2.5-liter engine, and either 21 or 22 mpg combined with the V6 (the former with all-wheel drive, the latter with front). The 2020 Blazer will start rolling into Chevy dealers this fall, and we expect the 2.0T models to be priced around $35,000. 69 Photos SUVs Crossovers 2019 GMC Sierra Denali review: So close to greatness Share your voice 42 Photos 52 Photos 2019 Honda Ridgeline: The commuter’s pickup truck 2019 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Bison: A tougher off-roader Car Industry More From Roadshow Jeep CherokeeKeeping its top-of-the-list placement, the Jeep Cherokee is 2019’s most American-made car. Refreshed for 2019, the compact crossover now features more tech, better cargo space and a slightly tweaked look. It’s available in no fewer the nine trims, including the off-road specific Trailhawk and a fancy-pants Trailhawk Elite. For 2019, the Cherokee gets a new 2.0-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine with 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, though naturally aspirated I4 and V6 choices are also available. Regardless of engine, a nine-speed automatic transmission gets the power to the pavement — or dirt as the case may be. With its SH-AWD system, the MDX is one of the better handling midsize luxury crossovers, and for 2019 the company gives us the A-Spec treatment with a new front fascia and side skirts, 20-inch wheels, wider exhaust tips, unique gauges, a new steering wheel, carbon fiber trim and various Alcantara interior touches. However, both the standard and A-Spec models get a 3.5-liter V6 engine, rated for 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque going through a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Acura MDX is made in East Liberty, Ohio.  Chevrolet 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport loves to hustle Honda PassportThe Honda Passport is a new (well, reborn) entry to both the Honda lineup and the American Made Index. This midsize crossover comes to the fray with great driving dynamics and plenty of tech like the standard Honda Sensing suite of active safety features. An available 8-inch touchscreen gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a Wi-Fi hotspot.Under the hood is the stalwart 3.5-liter V6 producing 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. However unlike the Ridgeline, the Passport sends that power through a nine-speed automatic transmission. Having said that, just like the Ridgeline, this is the only powertrain available. The Honda Passport is built in Lincoln, Alabama. Honda OdysseyThe feature-rich Honda Odyssey minivan also retains its number-two slot from last year’s list. While the 2019 model doesn’t see any changes from last, it’s still a darn good choice for families on the go with reconfigurable seats, Wi-Fi and an excellent rear-seat entertainment system. The Cabin Watch video system lets parents keep an eye on their little darlings without turning around in their seats, while Cabin Talk amplifies their voice so no yelling is required. The Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 rated for 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Most trims get a nine-speed automatic but the top Touring and Elite trims now use a 10-speed automatic with stop-start technology. Adding to the ZR2’s two-inch lift and front and rear locking differentials, the Bison gets beefier skid plates (trust me, that’s a good thing), steel bumpers and integrated recovery points. Heck, you can even get a snorkel.Base models get a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual transmission, but a more popular choice is the 3.6-liter V6 gas engine with 308 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the 2.8-liter diesel pumps out 186 horsepower and a delicious 369 pound-feet of twist and is mated to a six-speed automatic. While we’ve all been ogling the new mid-engine Corvette, it’s easy to forget what a performance bargain the current-generation ‘Vette is. From the base trim to the Grand Sport to the bonkers ZR1, the Corvette is an American icon.My preference is for the Grand Sport, which strikes a perfect balance between everyday drivability and canyon-carving performance. The 6.2-liter V8 puts out 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. You can get it with a seven-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, but the kicker is the borrowed chassis and aero parts from the beefier Z06. Like I said, perfect balance. Jeep With high trade tensions looming and increasing talk of tariffs, more and more consumers are looking to buy American. Cars.com has released its annual American Made Index, showcasing companies that use the most American-sourced parts and labor in their vehicles. The results may surprise you.Cars.com analyzed more than 100 US-built vehicles for five key data points: manufacturing location, parts sourcing, US employment, engine sourcing and transmission sourcing. You might think something like the Ford F-150 would top the list, but it drops from its No. 5 spot for 2018 and out of the top 10 completely. Even the first-place holder, the Jeep Cherokee, is a pretty global product. It’s a Jeep, sure, but that brand is part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, an Italian-owned business.Cars.com surveyed 1,000 people and found that half are concerned about automotive import tariffs, with 41% saying they are unsure if tariffs would make them more likely to buy American. Either way, we’re big fans of all the vehicles on this list. These days, buying American doesn’t necessarily mean sticking with a US-based automaker. 2019 Honda Ridgeline review: Light duty, heavy punch General Motors Chevrolet Honda Jeep Acuralast_img read more

But will it be easy to start a big production house in a day, well atlist we can say the relations which Sazal has developed nothing is impossible for him? But can he do good things with his production house? Why it is commanding because only love for music can not help you grow in this field. He has to deal with individuals from the record label, artists, and probably prima donnas.Sazal has to go through the details because one bad day can spoil everything, and that is the difference between producing a hit and flop song. It will be a daunting task for Sazal; he might need the people of this field who can help him in crucial situations.Sazal has to learn one more thing, and that is patience. If he remains calm and relaxed in every situation, then he will not face significant issues while producing albums. Australia readies for new PM

first_imgAustralia`s prime minister Malcolm Turnbull attends a press conference at Parliament House in Canberra on 23 August, 2018. Photo: AFPAustralia was readying for a new prime minister Friday after a revolt against Malcolm Turnbull by hardline conservatives in his Liberal party, with the former banker’s near three-year reign all but over.Former home affairs minister Peter Dutton, an ex-police officer and right-winger, has been the driving force behind the move to unseat Turnbull after a party backlash against his more moderate approach to politics.Turnbull survived one attempt to knife him on Tuesday, winning a party room vote 48-35, but since then ministers have been defecting.Dutton needed to prove he had majority backing, or 43 signatures from within the party’s parliamentary group — a requirement for him to force a second crack at the top job ahead of national elections due by mid-2019.Turnbull confirmed he had received a petition showing this support.”I have just been provided with a request for a meeting of the Parliamentary Liberal Party. It has 43 signatures,” he tweeted. The party whip was personally phoning everyone on the list to make sure they had signed, broadcaster ABC reported.Turnbull said as soon as the names were confirmed, a meeting to decide the leadership would be called. The PM, who accused Dutton and his supporters of bullying and intimidation, on Thursday said he would not contest again and would leave parliament, although he did not set out a timetable. His departure from politics would spark a by-election for his Sydney seat, threatening the government’s one-seat parliamentary majority.Despite Dutton getting the numbers for a challenge, there is no guarantee he will assume the top job, with Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Treasurer Scott Morrison — both Turnbull allies — also in the running.During a three-way vote, whoever comes last in the first round will be eliminated with a second round taking place to decide who becomes leader.Defence Industry Minister Christopher Pyne, a Turnbull ally, refused to say who he would be backing and hit out at disruptive elements inside his party.”I think some people should have considered the greater good of the people of Australia, and the government, rather than their own self-interest and ambition,” he said.- Owe you an apology -The unrest is the latest chapter in a turbulent decade for Australian politics, with no leader managing to serve out a full term since former Prime Minister John Howard lost the 2007 election. If a new prime minister takes office Friday, it will be the seventh in 11 years in a remarkable revolving door at Canberra’s parliament house.Complicating matters, Dutton was referred to the solicitor-general over his eligibility to sit in parliament due to family financial interests in childcare centres that receive government subsidies — a possible breach of constitutional rules. The nation’s top lawyer Friday cleared him to continue in parliament. If he succeeds in taking the top job, Dutton will push Australian politics further to the right with a shift in several policies. He has made clear already that he would slash the migrant intake to counter population pressures and has not ruled out withdrawing Australia from the Paris climate agreement. The move to oust Turnbull was sparked by his plans on Monday to embed carbon emissions targets in law.Coupled with the government long trailing the opposition Labor party in opinion polls, the move sparked a revolt that quickly spiralled into calls for his head. One minister was so disillusioned with the push to oust Turnbull that he took to Twitter to apologise to the Australian people.”Australia. We owe you an apology. I’m sorry. You deserve better than many of the things our Federal Parliament has served up to you for the past 10 years,” wrote Nationals MP Darren Chester, whose party is in a coalition with the Liberals.last_img
